1. Soda Ash (Na₂CO₃)
Used in reactive dyeing for color fixation. It helps form covalent bonds between dye and fiber and controls pH.

2. Caustic Soda (NaOH)
Used in scouring and mercerizing. Removes oils, waxes, and impurities and increases fabric absorbency.

3. Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂)
Used as a bleaching agent. Removes natural color and provides a white or bright appearance.

4. Stabilizer
Controls the decomposition of peroxide to ensure proper bleaching.

5. Detergent
Acts as a cleaning and wetting agent. Removes dirt, oil, and dust.

6. Wetting Agent
Reduces surface tension and helps the fabric absorb water quickly and evenly.

7. Sequestering Agent
Removes water hardness (Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺) by binding metal ions.

8. Anti-Creasing Agent
Prevents creases during wet processing and ensures smooth processing.

9. Levelling Agent
Helps distribute dye evenly across the fabric for uniform shade.

10. Reducing Agent
Used to remove excess or unfixed dye after dyeing (e.g., Hydrose).

11. Hydrose (Sodium Hydrosulfite)
A strong reducing agent used for stripping or removing color.

12. Soaping Agent
Used in washing after dyeing to remove unfixed dye and improve color fastness.

13. Enzyme
Used in bio-polishing to remove hairiness and pilling, improving fabric smoothness. Cellulase enzymes weaken and remove protruding fibers in knit fabrics.

14. Anti-Foaming Agent
Prevents foam formation in dye baths, ensuring smooth processing.

15. Softener
Improves softness, smoothness, hand feel, and drapability of fabric.

16. Acetic Acid
Used to neutralize pH after dyeing and create an acidic medium.
