This oud scent is young and fresh which is very much appropriate for the masses and has a straight line. It is also appropriate for anyone looking for a strong, but not overpowering, autumn-winter scent. One of the designer excellences in my opinion. This actually made the oriental oud a success for Gucci in the mainstream.

The scent begins with a burst of geranium and lavender. However, as it progresses, the patchouli becomes more noticeable. Here the patchouli appears to be green and woody rather than dark and chocolatey. The fragrance as a whole is fascinating. Complex, aromatic and unexpectedly refreshing. On my nose, it smells like an old-fashioned fragrance with a barbershop vibe which I adore. The sillage and longevity are both exceptional.
