Today, with a full heart, I watched Elena work her final day at Vanhamel Antwerp.

It’s hard to put into words what she has meant to me, not just as a colleague, but as a person I’ve had the immense privilege of working alongside these past five years.

Elena has been the kind of employee every salon owner dreams of. Gifted, loyal, warm, and truly irreplaceable.

Her talent turned every appointment into a work of art, but it was her spirit; her ability to make every client feel seen, valued, and beautiful; that made her unforgettable.

She built connections that went far beyond hair.

People left her chair with more than great hair, they left with joy, confidence, and friendship.

As her boss and as someone who’s had the honor of watching her grow into everything she is today, I can say this: Elena, you are one of a kind.

Thank you for pouring your heart into our salon. You’ve left a mark that will never fade.

You will be tremendously missed, not just for your work, but for the light you brought into the team and into my life.
