After having crossed 🇬🇷 from one end to the other, our friends Erik Edman and Davide Cesário Castro finally released last month their movie about the story of Diem25, as seen from the movement’s members and their work in 🇬🇷.

Released to commemorate the first half-decade of DiEM25, it is a celebration of the tenacity of hope and the incredible achievements that are possible, when people dare to believe in alternatives.

Dear friends,
garagerasmus Foundation - together with Xul Foundation, InCo Association, Dinamik Development, Impact Hub Zagreb, Plataforma del Voluntariado de España and Out of the Box International- is glad to invite you to our IYE-LABs project Final Conference.

By developing the role of volunteering through social inclusion projects working on the SDGs at a local level, the IYE-LABs project has helped to activate a group of young people in volunteering actions through an innovative methodology inspired by social laboratories, contributing to scale up good practices in different cities all around Europe involving youngsters in civic participation.

Despite all the difficulties posed by the COVID-19 emergency our local partners managed to convince young volunteers to go ahead with their projects, either by maintaining the original ones or by adapting them to the needs of social distancing.

The IYE-LABs Final Conference will present the results of our project to other organisations working in the volunteering for the social inclusion and youth fields –at a local, national, European and international level- and also to policy and decision-makers, particularly those ones working at a EU level.

How our project enabled youngsters to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to undertake social volunteering projects through training activities, intercultural dialogue and their proposals: find out fieldwork partners’ vision!

How alternative ways of volunteering helped us to overcome all the mobility difficulties during our implementation phase: Discuss it with our volunteers!
Parallel discussions lead by Ana Rojas (Xul Foundation, Spain), Sinem Kanmaz (Dinamik Development, Turkey), Patricia Dragan & Stella Gelmini (InCo Association, Italy) & Damir Muzina (Impact Hub, Croatia). The first three ones will be in their national respective languages and the fourth one, in English.
