💗MEET THE ARTIST💗

Hello everyone!

My name is Christine and I'm a makeup artist. I'm currently 29 years old and I currently spend my time between Manchester, UK and Sofia, Bulgaria.

I have been passionate about makeup my entire life and always used it to express myself and feel beautiful. It's why I love doing makeup for others. I love seeing someone look at themselves and gasp at their own beauty.

I started doing my makeup when I was in my teens. I remember watching YouTube videos and trying to recreate the looks with what I had in my makeup bag. Slowly people started noticing my skill and I began doing makeup for others. I also did a lot of cosplay makeup and even held a little workshop and taught others how to apply their makeup!

I never really stopped loving makeup and consistently kept up with trends, even if wasn't doing freelance work. With time I began to see what feels comfortable for me instead of doing what's trendy and after some time, these techniques became trendy as well!

After years of work in corporate jobs, I realized how truly unhappy I am and decided it was time to once again follow my passion, for real this time. So, that is how I ended up here with all of you!

Today I actually wanted to talk about makeup prep routine!

I always make sure I start off with a clean, hydrated skin. I do my best to make it smooth and even by exfoliating, since my skin type allows that without irritation. Then I go with the rest of my skin routine - tonic, acid, serum, emulsion, cream. I also like to do a little face massage after each steps, to assure I've done it correctly, especially if the products absorb fast. Better than re-applying another layer and saves me some product!

Then I always start my makeup with a hydrating base. Since I don't currently have many of the same type of product, I use the .official M B.B. Boomer. I am quite pleased how it does the job, especially because I use a Missha B.B. cream on top as well. I then follow with my eyeshadow primer potion.

An important extra step I do is using a hydrating setting spray after each "layer" of eye makeup and at the end for the entire face. Currently using Missha "Fix Me".
