I’ve been delaying getting my fridge connected for over a year. Today, I stopped making excuses and hired a professional. It sounds minor, but it’s a huge reminder that I have the power to change my environment and my life.

Everyone, meet Chris.

If you don’t know him, Chris is the sweetest, kindest, and most trustworthy friend you could ever hope to have in your corner. He is the friend I thank God for every single day.
Years ago, back in my twenties when I was struggling deeply with depression, I hit my absolute lowest point. I was completely lost in a dark place. Without even calling, Chris just showed up at my old apartment unannounced. He saved me that night from making the biggest mistake of my life, and I will hold that gratitude in my heart forever. (And yes, because of that, he is officially the only person on this planet allowed to pull up to my house unannounced! 😂)

Fast forward to today, and he’s not just my guardian angel he’s also my boujie realtor friend who helped me secure two of my income properties here in Nassau!

From being my unpaid therapist to literally teaching me how to make the bed properly 😆😆, he does it all.

I am so incredibly blessed to have such an amazing community, but Chris, this post is for you. Thank you for always being so much more than a friend, you are family.
