Last April, I had the pleasure of traveling to Ghana for the AfriCaribbean Trade and Logistics Expo. It was my first time in Africa. I led the workshop focused on "Increasing the Use and Influence of Herbal Medicine in the African Diaspora." I also showcased some of my herbal products from The Spice Clinic & Farmacy.
The last day of the conference I got to have a quick interaction with Wodemaya, the Cultural King of Africa and the African Diaspora. I had followed him online as he trekked across the Caribbean, stopping in many of the countries, including Grenada and the Bahamas. He has given me (and his audience) different perspectives, and sometimes first views of the countries in Africa. I am grateful for his efforts and his enthusiasm. He is recently became a new Dad!!! Congratulations to him and his wife!
