Miss Supranational Botswana Takes a Strategic Gap Year

Gaborone, Botswana - Something Big (Pty) Ltd, the organizers of the prestigious Miss Supranational Botswana pageant, announces that the pageant will be taking a gap year in 2025.

After careful consideration, the organization has decided to restructure and revamp the pageant to ensure its continued growth and success. Despite being the best-run local pageant in the country, the organization acknowledges that its growth has not met its initial set expectations.

The primary challenge has been the lack of relevant partners and financial support, forcing the team to fund the pageant entirely on its own. Nevertheless, the pageant has achieved remarkable success, crowning two exceptional queens Ms. Dabilo Moses in 2022 and Ms. Leah Barobetse in 2023 who both excelled on the international stage.

The ultimate goal of Miss Supranational Botswana is to win internationally, as well as host the international pageant in Botswana, and the organization is committed to returning stronger and more competitive than ever. The gap year will provide an opportunity to reassess, re-strategize, and revamp the pageant to achieve these goals.

The organization wishes to assure the public that prizes to the previous winners have been fulfilled. The team appreciates the public's understanding and patience as they regroup to bring a better experience.

The organization is also using this opportunity to call on corporate Botswana to join forces and support the growth of the pageant, contribute to the empowerment of young women, promote national pride, and enhance their own brand visibility "We believe that partnerships are key to success, and we are open to collaborate in tailor-made partnership packages that meet the needs of interested partners to take Miss Supranational Botswana to the next level," added Mrs Moremong.

Motswana woman with valid Omang, Age 18yrs to 30yrs, Height 1.67m, Never been married, Never given birth, Have no visible tattoos, and should have never been convicted of any crime
