Proud to be part of the generation of women who are redefining and raising the standards of what it is to be 50.
We’ve done the hard parts….studied, raised children, built a life, established careers, overcome adversities and celebrated victories.

At 50 I am healthier, stronger, fitter and more determined than I was in my 30s.

I’m also officially in a position to preach 😉! Here’s 10 things I would tell my 20 year old self:

1. Live boldly, love deeply, give generously and never stop becoming.
2. Don’t chase. Attract. Never seek validation -know your self worth.
3. Never say “I can’t”. Say “I will find a way.”
4. Don’t try to run before you can walk. Success is the without doubt the sum of small but consistent actions.
5. Respect your body and never take it for granted. Eat well, move regularly, lift weights, don’t abuse. Your older self will thank you for it.
6. Everything has a time and a place. You can do it all, just not all at once.
7. Be present and intentional with your children. They grow way too fast. Create meaningful moments and memories.
8. Don’t be afraid of failures. They don’t define you, they make you stronger.
9. Don’t follow trends-set them. Build a life that reflects your values , not those of others.
10. Life is not a destination, it is a beautiful journey. Don’t forget to stop along the way, smell the flowers, enjoy the view. Never do things in half measures. Live your life to its fullest.
