Back to her roots!
One of our muses this week took a swim on the mermaid side for a while. We had previously done a full head bleach to achieve a beautiful purple and blue mixture. She was living her mermaid/ fairy fantasy!
Every fantasy must come to an end. Over time her colour faded and she was just not vibing with the green aftermath. This muse decided it was time to go back to her red roots.
We gave her a beautiful true red to cancel out any unwanted green left behind by her blue days. This colour came out so rich and vibrant!

Quincañera alert! Our muse today was celebrating her fifteenth birthday. She wanted a rose gold soft glam to go with her dress and beautiful baby doll curls. Let me tell you…in my 10+ years in this industry, this was the most hair I’ve ever styled 😅 Pictures don’t even do it justice! This muse admittedly wasn’t taking the best care of her bleached hair! She wanted a clean slate without touching her natural roots. From mid-shaft down we colour matched (to perfection) her bleached ends with her natural grown out roots. We finished it off with a nice healthy trim to get rid of most of those dead ends and sent her away with beautiful shiny,healthy,hair!

A little balayage refresh and toning for this fabulous muse 🫶🏽. We ended her service with a trim and blowdry for that extra tlc. The grow out on this one will be seamless- a dream for an on the go,low maintenance gal!

Last but not least…my high school grad! This girlie had me up before the birds 😅 but so worth it! It’s so exciting to see the progression of trends through my muses. When I first started this business almost 10 years ago, I’d get google images sent as inspiration. Then it turned into stills from YouTube tutorials. Thereafter I’d just be sent a pin from Pinterest. These days I don’t get much of anything other than tiktoks! Trends come and go and then the cycle starts again. I love when my girls ask for timeless looks with a modern flare. “You girls keep me young. Ah, I love you so much” 😘 And with that concludes the prom/graduation season! I had the honour of getting these two gorgeous muses ready for their junior college graduation. I have seen both of these beautiful young women come into their own. Julie is our very own @mosaic_._ here at MUSE. It’s not the first time she has gifted me the opportunity to get her ready for a big day in her life. This girl worked right up to her graduation getting other young ladies’ nails ready for their very own big day. Truly an inspiring hard working girl! Abigail is near and dear to my heart. I was able to witness her high school journey first hand, had the opportunity to see her grow from a giddy freshman into the powerful driven young woman she now is. I am so proud of the good choices she continuously makes. Colouring outside the lines again!
Some weeks are for the blondes, some are for the redheads. This week was for my girlies with the whimsy vibes! Pushing the boundaries can sometimes be a scary thing but it’s always fun to listen to your teenage voice chanting “do it do it!”
That was precisely the case for this sweetheart of a muse! She came in for her routine blonde balayage but decided in the middle of her consultation…why not purple balayage instead? Why not??
We love how seamlessly these shades of purple melt into her gorgeous natural dark hair.
