Today was one of those mornings... Woke up with a headache, so I made myself a cup of golden milk with turmeric, honey, coconut milk, and a sprinkle of Himalayan pink salt for an electrolyte boost. This is such a warm and soothing drink, with powerful anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties. Coconut fat helps improve absorption, and a sprinkle of fine black pepper is also helpful. Feel free to add other spices like cinnamon or cloves if desired!

Welcome! My name is Maxina, and I'm a wife and mom, lover of books, coffee, cozy cabins in the woods, instrumental music of all genres, and forest walks. In the picture below, I was about five weeks pregnant with my son, who is one of my inspirations in launching this brand. Mielle was birthed out of a wish for more clean but cozy and beautiful products. Especially since my son was born earlier this year, I have been more conscious about transitioning to cleaner home and beauty products. I've realized that candles in particular are a huge culprit of environmental toxins. Although diffusers can be a great alternative, I still love the comforting glow and warmth of flickering candlelight.
