Some weeks feel longer than others. 😅
What are you doing this weekend to reset?

Kids are constantly growing, exploring, climbing… and falling. A LOT!
By the time your child is 5, they may have experienced thousands of falls. And while their distance to the ground is much smaller than ours, the repeated impact on their little bodies can still take a toll.
Many of the small stresses and strains that happen along the way often go unnoticed. Over time, those little impacts can add up.
With children, chiropractic care focuses on supporting healthy movement, posture, and nervous system function as their bodies grow and adapt through each stage of childhood.

Injured in a MVA? Do you know what you need to do?
1. Report injuries to ICBC right away. Not everyone is injured in a MVA and ICBC will often give you a unique claim number just for your injuries. Your practitioners will need this number to submit your invoices to ICBC.
2. Book your appointments for care. Once you have reported injuries, you are automatically covered for "Early Access" care. This is the first 12 weeks immediately following the accident and the number of treatments are based on each modality. You do not need a medical doctors referral to begin care!
3. Follow your recommended treatment plan. Your practitioner will communicate with ICBC, as needed, to secure coverage past the initial 12 weeks if it is necessary, but your commitment to attend care is required.
4. Follow up with ICBC as needed. Your claims specialist(s) may occasionally need more information from you. Not following up when they reach out may result in you losing coverage.

We don't think twice about taking our vehicle in for regularly scheduled oil changes, but are so hesitant to ensure our bodies get the preventative care we need. We think, "Is maintenance care really needed after my symptoms resolve?"
When symptoms seem to resolve, we can think the problem is gone. However, often the issues that caused the concern to begin with continue long after our symptoms are gone. To avoid returning to the limited mobility, muscle tension and pain, maintenance care is recommended.
Taking your car in for regular "tune-ups" and oil changes can help with the longevity of your cars engine. Maintenance care for your body is no different and results in:
1. Fewer flare-ups
2. Improved mobility
3. Improved recovery from daily living
4. Ongoing support of your nervous system
Your body takes you farther than any vehicle ever will. Invest in it wisely!

1 in 4 British Columbians stopped working in the last year because of musculoskeletal (MSK) pain.
MSK conditions are one of the leading causes of disability and lost productivity. That’s why improving access to effective pain management matters.
Chiropractors already play an important role in helping patients recover through evidence-based care. Expanding scope to include tools like needle stimulation would give chiropractors another option to help manage pain, reduce disability, and support patients in getting back to work.
Better access to MSK care benefits patients, workplaces, and the entire healthcare system.
Happy Friday Everyone!!!

Warmer days bring more time spent outdoor doing activities you love; kicking a ball around, golfing, hiking or something else entirely. We often see people jumping right back in which can lead to aches and pains, or even injuries
So, before you get too far into it, make sure to support your body with these things in mind…
1. Do not go from 0 to 100 – Build back your activity level, gradually.
2. Stretching is not enough – warm up with dynamic movement!
3. Strength & mobility should be your priority.
4. “No Pain, No Gain” is not always true! Listen to your body!
And if you need a little help, our practitioners can help you:
1. Move Better -> by improving mobility and joint function
2. Recover Stronger -> by reducing muscle tension and tightness
3. Stay Active -> by supporting your body to recover properly
