We’re excited to share an update on this patient’s scar progress!
Her treatment plan included 2 neuromodulator treatments, a series of 3 microneedling sessions, and daily SPF.
We started with neuromodulator to relax muscle activity and reduce tension on the scar tissue (an important and sometimes overlooked first step in scar treatment). With less dynamic movement pulling at the area, the skin is better positioned to respond to what comes next - which for this patient was microneedling.
Our DP4 microneedling scar protocol then worked to break down fibrous tissue, stimulate collagen, and improve skin texture and quality over time. The results speak for themselves 🤩
