Enchanted Body is now taking pre-orders for Christmas. These Sugar Scrub Kits and Salts Scrub Kits are the perfect gift to pamper your loved ones.

First, choose from either our sugar cane scrub or epsom salt scrub. Then, pick your scent. We currently offer Lavender, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass, Mango Peach, Macintosh Apple and Candy Cane.

We our now offering Christmas themed packaging at no additional charge. Please let us know if you would like this choice when ordering.

Our kits come with a combination of Grapeseed, Apricot Kernel and Sweet Almond* oil to leave your skin feeling soft without feeling greasy. Use a little for a drier body scrub or use it all for a smoother application. The choice is yours.

*This kit contains Sweet Almond Oil and should not be used if you have a known nut allergy. A full list of our ingredients can be found inside the box.

Each kit costs $38.00 and comes with everything to make the scrub. All you'll need to provide is a clean (preferably sanitized) airtight container such as a wide mouth mason jar, and a spoon for mixing. We provide the rest, including step by step instructions. These kits are perfect for gift giving!

Local delivery within Newmarket and Aurora is available Wednesday evenings for an additional $10 fee. Shipping available within Ontario for an additional $17 and $20 anywhere outside of Ontario. We currently do not ship outside of Canada.

Sugar Scrub vs Salt Scrub

Sweet or salty? It’s a common question when looking for a snack to eat. But it’s also a question we should be asking ourselves when picking a manual exfoliator. Sugar or salt scrub. Which one works better?

It is important to exfoliate not only to remove those dead skin cells that can clog your pores, but also to help your skin absorb other products like moisturizers, serums, and SPF better. Sugar and salt both work well for manual exfoliation, but they each have their own pros and cons.

Sugar Scrubs

Pros: Sugar scrubs act as a manual exfoliant, physically removing dead skin cells and helping you to reveal new, glowing skin. Unrefined cane sugar also contains the nutrients calcium, iron, magnesium, and potassium, which feed and replenishes your skin. Sugar scrubs are also less abrasive on the skin than salt scrubs. Keep in mind unrefined sugar is more abrasive than table sugar, so should never be use on your face. Unrefined sugar should only be used on your body.
The biggest advantage sugar scrubs have over salt scrubs is that they don’t sting. Therefore, those who shave tend to reach for sugar scrubs. Sugar scrubs are also recommended for people with sensitive skin.

Cons: They don’t do much for the skin beyond manual exfoliation.

Salt Scrubs

Pros: Salt scrubs work the same way that sugar scrubs do, in the sense that they work to physically exfoliate and remove dead skin cells. However, salt scrubs have the extra benefits of having anti-inflammatory properties as well as helping to pull toxins away from the body. Salt scrubs are also good for areas of the body where the skin is dryer such as the feet, hands, elbows, and legs.

Cons: Can irritate delicate skin. Can also sting on freshly shaved skin or on a sunburn.

Ultimately, when it comes to choosing between salt vs sugar scrubs, it’s all about you and your unique needs.
