Hey, Mary Kay has a new lipstick. I am trying “Poetic Pink” as my go to colour for today. This “new” supremely smooth lipstick is feeling wonderful on my lips. My lips seem to drink in a deluge of moisture from this hydrating lipstick, I really need that, especially today, as winter seems to be hanging on. (my web site is www.marykay.ca/eleanor.senick )This is and will be definitely my go to “everyday” lipstick which is packed with tried-and-true conditioners (like sunflower oil and vitamin E), this formula leaves my lips feeling instantly plush. I have been wearing it for over 2 hours and it feels like I just put in on.
There are 8 richly pigmented shades that result in ultra-flattering colour payoff for all our skin tones, opening the possibility of supremely sumptuous lips for everyone.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies ES (have divided the original recipe in half) (Dec 2021) Been looking for this for a few years now
½ cup butter softened
1/3 cup brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar (can use a bit less)
1 Egg
1 ½ tsp Vanilla
½ of 1 ¾ cups of gluten free flour (make my own with brown rice flour, potato starch and tapioca starch)
I tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp Xanthan Gum
½ of ¾ tsp of baking soda
1/8 tsp of salt or less
1 cup of flaked rolled oats (gluten free grown in special soil,)
¾ cup of raisins
Preheat oven to 350 F. Use baking sheets with parchment paper set aside.
In a large bowl or food processor mix together butter, sugars, until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
In a separate bowl whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking soda,
xanthan gum and salt Add to butter mixture until combined.
Stir in oats and then raisins. (may have to add a slight bit more flour as
I like to quickly roll a good spoonful into balls, placing them 2 inches apart on the cookie sheet. Lightly press down with a fork, may need a bit of flout on your fork then tap off prior to pressing down. (keep ball slightly thick)
Bake one pan at a time. Until golden 12 to 15 min , also depends on your oven. Makes about 24 Let cool for 2 min then transfer to cookie rack to cool. These are best

Thank you to everyone who donated to help us raise funds for our Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation that supports women living with cancer and women who are victims of domestic abuse across the country! This past Saturday’s walk raised over $60,000. 😄
The picture below is my getting ready to start my 5 km walk on Saturday Sept 18,2021 at 11:00 am. For me the 5 km’s was the longest I have walked in a very long time. I use to participate in the Princess Margaret walks. 🚶‍♀️
I looked on Google maps to chart my course for 2.5 km out and back making the required 5 km. So, using my Nordic poles I went from my house in Aurora down to Spruce Street, across Wellington to Kennedy and on to Yonge street south to the Starbucks past the Aurora Library and back the same way, about 8,800 steps. Yes I was a bit tired, so I stopped to pick up a Chai Tea Latte for my journey back. The one thing I noticed was my heals were sort of burning, yes, I was using my orthotics. After getting home and having lunch I took 2 AIM Frame Essentials tablets and that evening my feet were fine. I love my AIM. The walk for me was a very enjoyable time (about 2 hours). It was a calm, beautiful sunny day for a very purposeful walk.😊☀️
