DIWATA is a Filipino term for Fairies or spirits that are invoked ritually for good fortune, crop, beauty and health. And since Diwatas are generally closer with nature, we, the DIWATA Beauty Shop focus more on natural beauty inside and out. We would want to bring the best and pure Philippine made beauty products that won’t bleach and damage your skin. We also focus on products with ingredients straight from nature which are very safe even for pregnant and teens.
Nowadays, Filipinas focus too much on making their skin whiter and bleached. I myself had this illusion that the lighter your skin, the more beautiful you are. But I ever since this pandemic, I realized that you can be more beautiful in anyway. I want to share to all women that we can accept what we have and just enhance our beauty with better and safer products. I started taking care and accepting my darker skin, even my curly dark hair. I am starting to love myself and telling myself I am Enough.
