Want longer-lasting colour??

Try these 4 easy steps to make your hair colour last!

1. Wash your hair with colour-care professional shampoo ( ie: AG Hair, Schwarzkopf, Moroccanoil, Colour WOW, etc). Non- professional shampoos such as Pantene or Herbal Essences have harsh chemicals that will fade your colour immediately after colouring your hair- among other harsh things it can do to your hair.

2. Rinse out your shampoo and conditioner with lukewarm or cool water. Doing so will protect your colour from washing out quicker.

3. Use a thermal protecting spray when using a hot tool, blow dryer or curling iron. This not only protects against heat damage but also helps protect your colour from fading.

4. Did you just get your hair coloured? Wait 24-48 hours to wash your hair. This allows the colour to pe*****te better and will fade less by doing so.

Grey coverage and where you might fit in.

I see some of my clients every 3-4 weeks and 3-4 times a year we add in dimension.

I see some of my clients every 6-8 weeks and we blend their greys with highlights and lowlights for a softer regrowth.

Some are just starting to see some greys and we use a demi color to camouflage their few sparkles lasting 8-10 weeks

I truly love honing in on grey coverage because I get to see my clients more frequently and build stronger relationships.

Every year, the month of June is a time to celebrate and raise awareness of the challenges faced by the LGBTIQ+ community.

While this month is a time of celebration, it’s also a time to advocate for action and change as many injustices are still faced by this community in 2022.
