5 weeks of loving you đ
5 weeks of a love that rewired everything I thought I knew about life and sacrifice.
Mia Valentina, I love being your mom đЎ

đ This is what I mean by nourishing and supporting the body⌠without overcomplicating it!
Last nightâs before-bed meal delivered exactly what my body needed:
stable blood sugar, quality protein, healthy fats, and complex, fiber-rich carbohydrates.
âźď¸Youâve got complete protein from the eggs and turkey, vitamins and trace minerals from the beans and egg yolks, and the combination of protein + fiber-rich carbohydrates helps stabilize blood sugar overnight đđźđđźđđź
Which means fewer cortisol spikes, better sleep quality, and more stable hormones.
Broccoli and leafy greens also bring in magnesium, potassium, and detox-supportive compounds to help my body process and clear what it doesnât need efficiently.
This is how I create a stable internal environment; I make it so I have steady blood sugar, a supported nervous system and that Iâm replenishing my nutrient stores.
Eggs + beans + veg đ
Hormones are incredibly responsive to the environment theyâre in!
If the body isnât moving and utilizing nutrients properly, if digestion is compromised, or if the system is under stress⌠hormones will always reflect that.
This is why just âbalancing hormonesâ without addressing whatâs underneath often leads to temporary or incomplete results.
In my coaching, I like to Zoom Out so then I can Zoom In.
I like to look at function as thatâs where real change happens
đđź.
My thought process for getting back into workouts 1 month postpartum đ
Slow, intentional work now for a stronger, more resilient body later!
I do NOT have the strength or energy for heavy compounds. Breastfeeding is taking a lot out of me đ đ but Iâm determined to instil the discipline I need to rebuild.

What a privilege it is to be your mom. đ
Progesterone is not exactly meant to be the starting point; so why are we starting the conversation there?!
Itâs a hormone your body produces AFTER a strong ovulation!
If your levels are low, the focus shouldnât just be on ADDING progesterone in, but on understanding WHY your body isnât making enough on its own.
Every case is different and there are definitely some instances where supplying the body with exogenous progesterone (HRT) IS the right call.
But for some women who are in their 20s, 30s, and yes, even 40s⌠you need to be asking why is ovulation not the starting point where progesterone gets the opportunity to be produced and supported?
It comes down to asking the right questions to get the right answers and truly getting to the root cause.
Leptin ISNâT just about resistance; itâs about sensitivity.
Leptin is not be feared (itâs the hormone that tells your brain: âhey, weâre nourished, weâre safe, we can stop eating.â đ
When your body is sensitive to leptin, that message lands clearly and we see appetite regulate, energy stabilize, and our metabolism responds the way itâs supposed to.
But when that sensitivity drops, the signal can become distorted and your body can act like itâs in a deficit⌠even when itâs not.
This is why itâs hard to get clients to fully understand leptin and how years of chronic dieting and making the body feel unsafe due to extremes can backfire!
Leptin sensitivity is built through the basics done well:
enough food, quality sleep, a regulated nervous system, and low inflammation.
Keep in mind, this didnât happened overnight so it wonât be âfixedâ overnight. Itâs a rebuilding experience that needs to be introduced properly and managed.
Itâs all about perspective đâď¸
Itâs not always about the macros⌠sometimes itâs the micros that change the entire picture.
This ISNâT me saying this is a âmagicâ trace mineral!
Itâs about shedding light on how small deficiencies can quietly impact hormone signaling, tissue health, and how your body responds to estrogen.
You can be hitting your protein, carbs, and fats perfectlyâŚ
and still feel âoffâ.
Especially in phases like perimenopause, where hormonal fluctuations are already higher, these gaps can become more noticeable.
This is your reminder to zoom out and to stop overlooking the nutrients that work behind the scenes.
