Because too many people take their relationship for granted, because life flies and we never say it too much, I love you my love. The years pass and our couple evolves. And then we still love each other, differently but even stronger.

Life is sometimes difficult. Sometimes I have the impression that she is having fun testing me by slapping me in the face and disappointing me. That she's trying to reach my limit, to see how far I'm capable of taking it. But life with you is simpler, lighter... You soothe my heart even when you are not there. Because with you life is beautiful even when it's ugly. Because there are two of us and we manage to support each other in all the stages of our lives.

I say thank you. Thank you for so many things. We have been through so much together. When I think about it, you could have run away and never come back. But you always gave me my space, you were there when I needed you and you knew when I needed to breathe. I know no one is perfect, but I still know I exist. And you live with me every day when I have trouble living with myself. You are a beautiful human being both inside and out. And I don't tell you this often, but I feel lucky to have you. Because you know, sometimes I discourage myself from being who I am. And you're there, taking me in, accepting all the things I hate about myself and telling me that it's not as bad as I think. You know all my flaws, my biggest secrets and you love me anyway. You make me a better person in my head and in my heart.
And today, I wanted to tell you. Because I am privileged that you have made a place for me in your life and it is important that you know that. Thank you simply for existing and for matching my aspirations, for encouraging me in everything I do and for putting up with me when I'm not doing well.
