✈️ Pulling a plane is no small feat, but neither is helping restore sight around the world.
This weekend, Dr. Jaffer, Dr. Femida Kherani took part in the Plane Pull for Sight fundraiser in Vancouver, supporting the incredible work of Orbis Canada.
Orbis is a global organization dedicated to preventing avoidable blindness and improving access to eye care through training, education, and sight-saving programs worldwide. Through their work, millions of people have received the care they need to preserve and restore vision.
Dr. Kherani has been involved with Orbis for many years, supporting their mission to bring sustainable eye care and education to underserved communities around the globe.
Together with a team of 20 participants, Dr. Jaffer and Dr. Kherani helped pull a massive (60 tonnes) cargo plane across the tarmac in support of this life-changing cause. 💪👁️
A powerful reminder that when communities come together, we can help create lasting impact, one step, one pull, and one patient at a time.

The Heights Laser Centre team had an incredible time at the ✨ 2026 Annual Conference of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery ✨ in beautiful Savannah, Georgia.
Over the conference, we immersed ourselves in the latest innovations, clinical research, emerging technologies, and advanced treatment protocols shaping the future of medical aesthetics and laser medicine. From regenerative aesthetics and skin rejuvenation to tightening, collagen stimulation, and next-generation devices! It was inspiring to learn from some of the industry’s leading physicians, researchers, and innovators.
