While property hunting today we were in a neighborhood that my said had a distributor machine. So I wandered to check it out. It was the cutest little neighborhood at my favorite time of day and I found these little gems along the way!

🥰Recipe inspiration from . Using coconut oil and honey instead of butter and sugar, they’re soft, fluffy, and are amazing even without frosting! 😋🥐

My tweaks:
✔️ Converted measurements to grams for precision.
✔️ Mixed by hand with stretches and folds.
✔️ Overnight fermentation in the fridge for depth of flavor.
✔️ Filling: coconut oil, brown & coconut sugar, and loads of cinnamon.
✔️ Shaped using ’s method for beautiful knots.
✔️ Baked to perfection in cast iron pans!

Fall Quinoa Bowl! Quinoa, roasted butternut squash, massaged raw kale, sautéed asparagus, pumpkins and sunflower seeds, pomegranate seeds and feta or burrata!

Sicky season and lack of sun among a million other things has me feeling a little heavy lately….my weekend was full of nursing duties, soup making and baking. The baking part lifts my mood!

Oh my, I did a thing! We have guests arriving from overseas this week and yesterday I made my usual sourdough brioche recipe (48 hour cold fermentation!) except I made these with organic unbleached white flour. While I don't typically use white flour for my family, I do for guests on occasion because, well, Italians love their white flour! 🇮🇹

I wanted to try something new and put a cream cheese filling with raspberry jam on 4 of them. I had no intention of eating them, I was supposed to let them cool and put them away! But they were warm, and soft and pillowy not to mention the aroma on yet another cloudy, cool day, it was just before dinner so I was hungry and.. . well I had to make sure they were ok to serve. 😜

Then I got busted by my son....so I had to share. Then my husband got home, and my daughter wanted in ...And then there were none ! 😂

I still have the plain ones left that I will fill with chocolate and/or jam.😬

I say, live life and eat all the things when they are warm and smell divine! Then just make more!

I've been on auto pilot lately with this amazing sourdough brioche that I make every weekend.
The base recipe is from with a few variations ...first, sometimes I swap the butter for coconut oil, I use buttermilk (by product of making my own butter). I do a long overnight or two bulk fermentation. Sprinkle cinnamon and 70% cacao chocolate bar chunks....roll, split and braid it.

Special people who keep on supporting my passion for soapmaking by ordering everytime I make a batch...Soaping is my happy place...a hobby I discovered far too late. I went through most of my years without any sort of hobby or talent. Art, sports, sewing...nope, nope and nope.

I had several bulk orders this month along with some smaller (but equally as important!) orders...folks who want a whole loaf or two to share with family and friends!

I can't keep up with social media and reels and relentless posting...so...
