Tasty shades: baddie brown (22'') + sunrise (18'')

you're not supposed to pick favourites but BADDIE BROWN is definitely my favourite shade 😍

If I was going to describe the shade is somewhere between absolute perfection and a milk chocolate bar.

Baddie Brown comes in length 22" and there are 20 tapes in each package (a full head application is anywhere from 1-2 packs depending on how thick your hair is)

I'm happy to have my extensions back in after taking a little break to check in with my hair 😀 It's actually gotten long enough that I only have 6 tapes in my hair just to add a bit of thickness and and a little ✨oompff✨ to my hairdo'

Something I really like about tape ins is that you can really customize the placement based on how you like to do your hair and what look you're going for. For example, when my hair was shorter and I wanted it longer, I used two packs of tape ins to increase the length and fill everything out evenly.

Now, I just want a bit of extra thickness and I've been really into playing around with my bangs, so I wanted to move extensions away from my face so that I could have a few more styling options!

and of course, having an incredibly high quality set of tape ins makes all of this possible *cough* KNOTTY BEINGS *cough* really helps 😉

this is a bit of a funny Monday observation but I think it's kind of cute that we as a humans are fixated on customizing our bodies! We do everything from tattoo our skin, cut and colour our hair, get piercings and dress ourselves in a way that we like, and this whole process is completely unique to each person 🥺⁠

I'm contemplating my next hair change over this delightful glass of wine and can't decide between copper, refreshing the neon, or pink!

I am wearing shade sunrise, in tape in hair extensions, which has a a light rooted brown and light blonde ends, making colouring really easy as I already have a great base to start on.

I've since then coloured the ends using in neon yellow, and have been loving it! Your hair is a canvas so paint it to your hearts desire besties!!

i’m extension free atm! every now and then I like to take a lil break from extensions and check in with my hair and scalp health. this break, my hair is telling me to get a trim and make sure to moisturize the mids/ends of my hair when my extensions are back in!
