💸 A one-time GST/HST credit top-up is set to start going out this week for some Canadians.

The Canada Revenue Agency says the payment is part of the transition to the new Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit, which is scheduled to replace the GST/HST credit in July.

Eligibility depends on whether a person was entitled to receive the GST/HST credit in January 2026.
