As an alternative to hairstrokes, this is a powder brow (ombré/shading- these are all words for the same thing). This is not as popular as my signature realism hairstrokes, but sometimes is the chosen technique for certain reasons! This technique is like a shadow of colour, airbrushed effect, sometimes best if you have an old tattoo that didn’t age well and needs a specific colour correction coverup, or if you have a certain kind of ultra-sensitive and thin skin. Sometimes this is also chosen if you have a preference for this style and like a more defined shape. Message me for details or to find out if you are a candidate for hairstrokes or powder brows!!

Each person’s eyebrows are personally assessed, with a thorough consult to determine your unique situation, amount of hair, any previous work you’ve had, and your goals for your dream brows!!! We look at lots of photos of my work to determine what you love and choose the technique we will use together. We talk about everything like thickness and shape and colour so it matches your hair and compliments your skin! I mark everything in pencil first so you can see in the mirror and we make any adjustments you like until you are super confident and excited!! These brows are for YOU ❤️

You may see a lot of pages posting great photos right afterwards, but that doesn’t tell you what it will look like years down the road……
Have you ever seen people around with those blocky eyebrows, often grey and a solid shape, no hairstrokes to be found??? Often times those STARTED as individual hairstrokes and it was microblading done too deep into the skin and they often eventually all blur together to just be a solid block 😫😫😫. I have to send so many people away for removal with improper work they had done somewhere because it healed horribly over time💔.

This is one of my favourite parts of doing brows…..choosing from colours and mixing together the perfect blend JUST FOR YOU! We take into account several factors such as your skin type and undertone, your hair and if you plan to change it at all in the near future, and your existing eyebrow hair and what will complement your colouring overall!!!

ALSO, keep in mind that permanent makeup brows fade slowly and gradually over time, so if you’re dyeing your hair now but may change it up later, or if would like to transition to grey down the road, we can always make a colour adjustment at a future touch up!!
