What is a trigger point?
A trigger point is a sensitive area of tight muscle fibers that can form in your muscles after injuries or overuse and can be very sensitive. A trigger point in a muscle can cause strain and pain throughout the muscle. When this pain persists and worsens you could be experiencing myofascial pain syndrome.
What causes trigger point?
