May is Melanoma and skin cancer awareness month.
The ADD created this month an awareness to the seriousness of Melanoma. Checking your skin daily can help you find skin cancer earlier when is treatable. As an oncology aesthetician at Beauty in Action, I could help you or anyone to look for any skin changes, moles size, shape or colour.

The number of new melanoma cases diagnosed in 2026 will increase by 10.6 percent.
An estimated 234,680 cases of melanoma will be diagnosed in the U.S. in 2026.
An estimated 8,510 people will die from melanoma in 2026: 5,500 and 3,010 women.
