Wedding bells are ringing and all the beauties are slaying 😍🔥

Now this is why I do my job! Not just because I love art but this job does such a valuable impact on my client's own self-love. I sometimes forget myself how much value a simple pampering day does help the soul.... Yesterday I was honored to received my first ever feedback by a client we had during a pro show and what she said next had me in tears. Not only is she 100% right that unfortunately she is a large minority of our customers being a black woman but that we were able to make her feel comfortable in her skin and come out feeling beautiful and no different was a plus. I remember her concern as she sat at my seat that we didn't have the shades for her skin...in true honesty her concerns were never mine but I completely understood them and just worked at what I did best as a makeup artist. Being an artist during a competition such as the CPA it's some times difficult to see if our client actually approves of the makeup or if it's just their stage nerves kicking in. Unfortunately she was a client I couldn't tell if it was the stage fright nerves or if she was shy to say she didn't like it....As an artist we are use to critism and we are here to satisfy you not us... but what a relief that she posted back to say she loved it after the stage fright settled 😍💕

Its been a few days since the show, and I just want to send a little feedback.

Let me start with the obvious. Your team is Awesome. As a newbie to the whole competition world, this being my second comp with CPA, your team really made the unfamiliar experience of pre-show prep very welcoming and easy. They were a team if fairy God mothers from tanning, to makeup, to touch ups and bikini bite.

Next, as a black female competitor makeup, basically by any artist for any occasion can be a stressful task. Especially if the artist isn't a woman of colour or use to having clientele of colour.

Last October, and this past Sunday I was beyond pleased with my makeup. I brought my own foundation, as a precaution, but was happy to see the artist only used mine because it was easy...not out of necessity. She changed up my request, and worked her magic. I was, and felt stunning!!

I just wanted to send this through, to reiterate all the other compliments I'm sure your team receives. As their hard work, friendly nature, and caring energy did not go unnoticed, was truly appreciated.
