Most rewarding progress pictures I've ever taken!! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

These pictures in 2021 were taken at my fittest stage I've ever been in my life. Before I got pregnant, when I was counting macros, and I had trained for my first spartan and felt like I killed it.

My life has changed since my daughter was born, and so has my body (many different shapes and forms). I never thought I would get back to my "fittest", let alone feel and look even better than I did in 2021. I feel so confident and proud.

I have no idea how I got here. I don't count macros anymore as it just doesn't fit my lifestyle right now. I don't have a strict diet but I do eat routinely the same foods during the work week during the days. I try to train consistently 3x week with my small goal of running 2km (which I have to maintain a slow pace so I don't get those stiches in my sides). Sometimes life gets in the way, constantly getting sick since my daughter started preschool in September, or travelling to see family.

I look at the time I get to myself as second important, so I am more relaxed on life and feeling less stressed. For the past 2 years I've really been working on myself, mentally and physically. I'm so happy that I've come so far.

Last two pictures is all my shapes and forms in the last 5 years. There is a gap in my photos from '23-'26 as I stopped taking as making progress photos. I'm definitely going to start these up again.

Last 5 years of all the bikinis.... My body has drastically changed and fitness goals altered here and there around post pregnancy and health issues. I've had to constantly buy new bikinis to fit the state of my body during each phase. Slowly coming along as I still adjust to my daughters school schedule and my new job. Sept-Dec I was sick for 2 months from all the preschool germs.

December kicked my ass and I wish I could say it was from all the working out... Spent the last 5 weeks being sick. I'm feeling out of the trenches and ready to get back on track with my goal to do a run this summer.

It's been a full year since getting the all clear to resume my fitness and normal activities since all my health issues. Taking this time to reflect.

I feel so much stronger and healthier. I'm so proud of my progress and how long of a journey it took to get here.

My daughter just started preschool at the beginning of September, and I started a new job mid August, so adjusting my workouts around our new routine was a bit difficult. I finally got it figured out and this was the first week I've been able to fit all 3 days in.

It's been 2 months since I've done a run so today's 15 min run was surprisingly amazing. Did my best distance and didn't get a stupid side stitch! All the core focusing has help with improving this.

My next goal is to prepare to do a run this summer, which will be my first registered one since running spartan in 2023. This is where I decided to quit running and then found out I had these health issues. Which is probably why my body failed me. So scratch that, not quitting just going to try and improve and get back to where I use to be with my runs. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

3 years of body transformation and I wouldn't change a damn thing ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ‚

It's not always the same and it's always changing daily depending on what I eat. This summer has been another reminder of how healthy, delicious fruits like grapes and watermelon literally kill my body with instant bloating. Just because it's fruit, doesn't mean I can over indulge. Moderation is still key, especially for someone who already has a lot of food sensitivities and intolerances.

It's so easy to say, "it's healthy, I can eat as much as I want" ... Ummm nope lol. Or at least not for me and my body. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

Each day I'm learning and adjusting what I eat based off how my body feels. Some days I'm more hungry and some days I feel bloated and full. It doesn't matter if I put the same amount, or more, effort in my training days because food is so important for fueling my body. This is usually why I eat the same meals during the work weeks because I know what my body can handle but with it being summer and taking lots of vacation I'm having to adjust and take time off training.

With that being said, it's still summer and I want to enjoy myself so catch me over here living my best life (in moderation) regardless ๐Ÿ’•
