Continental Hairstyling is celebrating 55 wonderful years in business in downtown Hespeler. The original owner, Frank Kish was the hairdresser and his wife, Mary, who was the manicurist. They came to Hespeler in 1968 from Toronto and started their own hair salon at the corner of Copper street and Queen street. In 1978 they had to relocate the business due to the demolition on Queen street to build residential condos.
Their currrent location for the last 45 consecutive years, is at 31 Queen Street East in downtown Hespeler (Cambridge). The original owner’s daughter (Gabriella) began her career at Continental Hairstyling at the of age 19 and has been working at the salon as a licensed Hairstylist for the last 35 consecutive years. In 2007, Frank retired and Gabriella immediately took ownership of Continental Hair and she has successfully owned and operated the business for the last 16 years.
Gabriella would like especially thank all the wonderful customers that have made Continental HairStyling a success and a hallmark in downtown Hespeler. Also many thanks to all their new clients as they look forward to serving their hair care needs in the years to come!
