Welcome all! For those that don't know how they got here, this page used to be Balance BodyWorX Natural Spa. Since retirement I have been focusing on my own self care and would love to share through Celestial Beings Self Care. May you find the answers you are looking for in the self care of your human body - the vehicle that carries us through life. At this point I am on day 5 of a Juice reboot and am sharing daily recaps here to help myself and others avoid the pitfalls when cleansing. Day 5 - Again a card jumped out of the deck - today it is New Location. As I peruse the picture, I see lot's of water for this water baby and butterflies that represent transformation guiding me to the waterfall, a huge source of energy for me. As I read the card info,, it moves into other areas of my life, but for this reboot journey, I will interpret it as a new personal temple for me to live in. It is also a good reminder to cleanse with water both by drinking and by showering or swimming, in nature if possible. As we cleanse the inner body, we also want to cleanse the outer body and let our light shine to the world. Make it an awesome day! 🧡☯️🧡
PS: During a meditation this morning, it came to me that In reality, we only have one place to live so this card is now telling me that I am creating a new temple for this celestial being. A cleaner and more efficient vehicle to roll through life with. Now that makes sense to me. 😁
Card Meaning: A change of venue is coming your way. Most likely, you are moving to a new residence. However, this card could also mean that you’re changing the location of your employment.
Definition: The fairies are very much in touch with geographical changes. They sense that your energy is drawing you to a new location. Perhaps you’ve been thinking about moving to a new home, and this card signifies that it’s time to consider that change. Write a list of features you desire in your new home, and ask the fairies to help you find and acquire your new residence.
This card could also mean that your place of employment is changing. You could be on the cusp of finding a new job. Or, your current employer may transfer you to a new location or promote you to a different office. Regardless of the type of new location, trust that this is a change for the better that will bring great improvements to your life.
Affirmation: I now live and work in a safe, comfortable, spacious environment, in a wonderful location!

Day 4 - EAT THE RAINBOW!
Slept very well last night and am feeling refreshed today although my body wants to be slow and focused. I’m really not hungry right now so have to remember to keep my nutritional intake up.
Morning - pint of lemon water followed by a pint of purified water
Todays oracle card is laughter (see info n previous post) and my intention for today is to really pay attention to my body. What does she want? What will make her thrive? What will bring laughter to her soul? With this in mind I checked in with myself and switched my planned hike this morning to a swim class. My body is craving water, it loves being in the water and it loves being the water, going with the flow, it brings me back to the comfort and love of the womb providing total ease of movement in a loving, supported environment.
Breakfast: Green juice followed by a pint of water.
Mid Morning Snack – 10:30 -8oz green lemonade
11 am: An amazing deep water pool class.
Lunch: 12:30 - 16oz green juice followed by water
Afternoon Snack: 4pm 1/2 Granny smith apple – left over from yesterday. I got really busy in the kitchen when my rhubarb lemonade pot overflowed on the stove. Anyway, I recognized that I hadn’t eaten anything in a few hours and undereating was one of my concerns today.
Dinner: 5:30 – Green Juice
7:30 – The treat for the day – a glass of fresh rhubarb lemonade, the first of the season,
but definitely not the last.

MISCELLANEOUS THOUGHTS AND MUSINGS Day 4
Whether cleansing or not, we benefit more from everything we eat or drink when we ingest it slowly and consciously. Enjoy every bite, chew everything well, luxuriate in the different flavors and honor where the food comes from. Create a gratitude ritual that can be as simple as thanking the universe for the food you are about to eat. I gratefully accept this nourishment and honor all that helped to bring it to me.
The pool was amazing today, a great choice. Diving in was reminiscent of meeting an old friend as the water enveloped me in a huge hug and every bit of tension in my body simply melted away. I have often heard there is no time for self care, yet it can be as easy as recognizing the moments in our day, that can be turned into joy as easily as wearing/sharing a smile.
I am quite surprised that I have made it through day 4 of this reboot so easily and as I pat myself on the back, I recognize this thought from past cleanses as more mind games. By recognizing success now, impedes completion. Terminology – particularly in self talk affects our actions By patting myself on the back, the pride builds, more pats on the back and feelings of success have me believing that I am successful and that means we are done and can quit now. Well, not tis time ego brain. I will instead pat myself on the back for a well done beginning and look forward to the rest of my days on this reboot. My goal is 10 days but I do like the majik of number 11 and then we will see.

Day 4 of EAT THE RAINBOW
Again today's card was no surprise. Laughter. I take life far to seriously and believe that my laugher gene is underdeveloped. But seriously, i really do need to laugh more and particularly learn to laugh at myself more. I can be pretty funny at times, even if I'm the only one that sees it that way 🤣. The belly laughs watching George Carlin the other night were awesome. One can feel no pain while laughing (unless you have broken rib), all worries are cast aside, stressors instantly vanish and the stomach muscles and digestive organs get a workout as well. Where do you find your laughter? ❤️☯️❤️

Day 3 - EAT THE RAINBOW!
Prerising: My morning routine varies depending on time available. Most days I do a gratitude list with at list 10 things that I am grateful for in my life. Today I also did a full body massage and cleansing meditation. This took under 30 minutes and really set the tone for my day with my body feeling relaxed and strong inside and out. Morning - pint of lemon water followed by a pint of purified water This is when I pull an oracle card and set my intentions for the day. For this cleanse, I am using the Healing with the Fairies oracle deck by Doreen Virtue. This was one of my first decks and still a favorite.
Breakfast: Green juice
9 am: Yoga / somatic class – highly recommended to do yoga while juice feasting or rebooting. I was really able to go inside my body a feel it. My balance was better today as well – co-incidence or ?
Mid-Morning: 11am -8 oz carrot pineapple apple lemon
Lunch: 12:30 - 16oz green juice followed by water got more movement into my body by going shopping for more juicing ingredients.
Afternoon Snack: 2pm 1/2 Granny smith apple – chewing it very well. I made loads of juice but I miscalculated on how many i needed to leave fresh. I would much rather eat the ingredients rather than get over hungry and eat everything in the kitchen. I generally do full juice cleanses and my mind is still in that spot, but I am actually doing a reboot which does allow organic fruits and veggies.

Appetizer: 4pm – 8 oz green Lemonade chard, spinach, apple, celery, lemon.
Dinner: 5:30 – My blueberry smoothie has me feeling very satsified today
8:00 – 8 oz Green Lemonade. The mind games have changed tactics now. We have moved from you have to eat to oh this won’t work anyway -might as well quit now. You will never succeed. It is such a joy to release those thoughts from my mind immediately.
Tonight's meditation – it was a long one but i fell asleep trusting that my subconscious would accept the words and balancing that it wants. I did remember my dreams as well which is always a bonus https://insighttimer.com/.../guided-sleep-meditation...
MISCELLANEOUS THOUGHTS AND MUSINGS
Generally when I do a juice cleanse I stick with my own version of Joe Cross’ mean green – celery, spinach, cucumber, lemon, apple & ginger but this time around, I am incorporating many other juices in this reboot and finding the variety is a real treat for me.
I am realizing that some of my spiritual work is such a habit that I forget to mention it. One of these is GRATITUDE. It is definitely true that when we are grateful for all we have, we receive more to be grateful for. I generally do my Gratitude practice both in the morning before I get out of bed and at night before I do my sleep meditation. I love to wake up in gratitude as well as going to sleep in gratitude. There is ALWAYS something to be grateful for. If you have never done a gratitude list, you may find it a little challenging at first, but once your get into the habit, it is amazing how quickly things jump into your mind. It may help as well to start a gratitude journal. This can also give you something to refer to on our darker days.
I am still amazed at the mind games throughout the day attempting to get me to eat and when that didn’t work, started to talk me into quiting the cleanse altogether. An amazing piece of art our brain. Our thoughts really do create our reality and when we allow our heart and soul to lead the way, possibilities are endless.

Day 3 and the "Trust Your Intuition" card jumped out of the deck this morning. Yesterday was a challenging day around food and I was able to differentiate between the ego / self sabotage messages and the intuition messages. This was a big part of yesterdays success and will continue to be a big part of this reboot. Our intuition comes straight from our soul and our soul intuitively supports us to be our highest and best in ourselves, our community and our universe. This card is confirming for me that I am supported and in the right place doing the right things.

8:30 – 4k Nature Bath
Mid-Morning: 10oz green juice
11:46 - 8 oz carrot / pineapple / apple / lemon beginning to feel some aches and pains in thoracic spine area. Beginning to feel the desire to chew. It is only a desire. It will pass.
Lunch: 1pm 16oz green juice followed by water then off outside to repot some of my neglected houseplants. I think they will enjoy some nurturing, just as i do.
2:13 and the self sabatoge is rising. I’m not hungry at all but my mind is saying “Just one bite: it won’t hurt anything”. I know that this is my ego mind attempting to take control but choose to offer up the control of the mind to the soul. My soul knows what it wants and will impart the wisdom the mind needs to calm, relax and go with the flow. I now impart Allan Carr’s advice - If you give in, the call will get stronger. If you ignore it it will fade into nothingness. This is a practice that I’ve used often after it worked so well with to***co addiction.
Afternoon Snack: 3:06 8oz Blueberry Smoothie saved from yesterday. I am so grateful that I am saving a small jar of smoothie for a treat the next day. Less work, less cleaning and a very tasty treat. The sabatoging ego mind comes through in waves so I am dealing with them in waves. As the waves come in, I acknowledge them and then see them neutralize as they flow back to the ocean.
Dinner: 6pm 8 oz Carrot / pineapple / apple / lemon
Snack – 7 pm Apple Cider with George Carlin - cause apparently there are no rules.

I am fascinated with mind games, and that is one of the reasons I love Survivor. Tonight’s show did not fail to impress. I find that the minds of those “on the block” immediately start conniving, grasping at straws, saying anything to save themselves in the game. This is so connected to the mind games in rebooting or juice feasting. The ego is so afraid of starvation that it will come at “me” from every angle possible to save the “host” forgetting the fact that "me" and the "host" are ONE.
So off to something a little easier on the mind ...
George Carlin jumped into my brain while journaling so the last hour has been a revisit to the 70’s and to belly laughter. My tummy, which is feeling very light, started doing belly rolls. What a great way to work out those tummy muscles, and bonus – no hunger while laughing. Apple Cider with George Carlin - cause apparently there are no rules. Another great day! 🖤🖤☯️🖤🖤
