✨ Calling to the Dancing With The Stars 2026 stage… CHRIS HUGGAN! ✨

Chris says dancing is definitely outside his comfort zone, but that’s okay because he’ll be hitting the stage with pro dancer Karina Bowsell! 💃🕺

Meet Chris!

Chris Huggan has spent most of his career as a physical education teacher and athletic director. His passion for people, education, physical activity, and sport has led him to a variety of leadership roles, including Athletic Director at Colonel Gray High School and UPEI. He currently teaches physical education at Charlottetown Rural High School, where he is joined by his wife, Carolyn, and two oldest daughters, Jadyn (Grade 12) and Alexis (Grade 10). Their youngest daughter, Casey, will be joining soon. In addition to teaching, Chris works in Business Development with Causable Inc., helping schools, sports teams, and non-profit organizations across PEI raise funds to create and enhance opportunities for their members.

Chris has always encouraged his students, and his own children, to step outside their comfort zones and embrace new opportunities. Now, he is both nervous and excited to take a big step outside his own comfort zone by joining this year’s Dancing with the Stars fundraiser in support of Hospice PEI. He hopes his friends, family, current and former students, and colleagues will support him and this meaningful cause.

Let’s show Chris and Karina some love and cheer them on all the way to the dance floor!
