I got a special delivery today from TWO different groups from the Yarrow Kids Club. They were adorable, very polite in the store and they really helped me remember that our community is a really special place to be. 💕

I started crocheting to fill the time gap between when my kids had to be at the hockey rink and when hockey actually started. I wanted something that wasn’t scrolling my phone and I had recently come into possession of my grandmother’s crochet hooks. Years later, I always have a project in my bag and I’m still exploring, learning and honing my craft. I’ve loved learning about garment construction and how different yarns behave and love trying new projects.
We have a number of crochet workshops this month - whether you’re a beginner or someone who wants to try a new pattern, we have something for you.

We have lavender! We use dried lavender in our bath bombs, bath salts and lavender sachets. This was cut yesterday and we have some to spare - come and get a bundle of lavender. 🪻

An upcycling experiment. I’m pretty pumped with the results. What do you guys think?
