Excuse the lighting 🙄 Sometimes you have clients that let you in on the raw parts of their life. They let you in on the grief that consumes them by a loss of a family member. They let you see their tears. And so, it's necessary for you as a stylist to meet them there; to cry with them, to laugh with them; to rejoice in the small but very exciting victories, even if all it means is meeting a friend for lunch that week. It's especially necessary when they come in to the salon and insist on having an entire makeover that day. It's your job to drop your expectations for their hair-- to put down that tube of colour that was ready and waiting-- and give them the look they've "always wanted but never thought they could have". It's important to grow with your clients. It really is.

Hey hair friends! Big thanks to those who were so kind and patient with me last week while I was ill. Only now can I function semi-normally.

I feel it's time to inform my clients that June 30th will be my final working date of 2017 in Chilliwack. If you didn't know, I'm getting married in July and will be moving out of town. That being said, please pre-book your appointments!!! 😃 I do have spots left and would love to fill my schedule up as full as possible before I leave.
