Today marks 10 years of Crystals Beautique. A whole decade of eyebrow waxing!

AH! I have been reminiscing on the last decade for a few weeks. I’m a sucker for nostalgia.
I started the Beautique at 21 years old, and although starting a business can be scary, I had a fire in my heart and a knowing that everything would work out as it should. Now, at 31 years old, I often think of the 21 year old version of me to harness some of her fearlessness and bravery. I’m forever grateful for her.

Building a business solely on brow waxing was not on my original bingo card, who knew that was even possible? In Hilary Duff’s famous words “why not?”.

A little love letter to my clients; thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me with your brows. My business grew because strangers became regulars and regulars became family. Through every big life event, the laughs, the tears, venting and gossip seshes. I am your biggest cheerleader and I’m grateful to have a career where I am surrounded by strong, smart, amazing women every single day.
I’m often told how much you look forward to your appointments, or you feel more like yourself when you leave. I don’t think you realize how much those moments mean to me too 🫶🏻

A special thank you to my family and friends for believing in me, being my very first clients and cheerleaders, and being there for me when solo entrepreneur life feels overwhelming. ✨

I am so incredibly lucky and grateful to be where I am today. Cheers to the next decade and many more brows. 🥂
