Choosing the tweezer to fit your needs ❣️

There’s so many options for tweezers out there but, above are some of the most common ones used by lash techs.

Although it may seem overwhelming, we always teach our students that the best way to find out is to try them yourself.

In GlowUpEsthetics we let our students get hands on practice with different tweezers. We encourage students to widen their options to ensure they succeed in lash world.

Is losing lashes every day normal?

Yes, yes and YES!

Lots of people think that having lash loss is due to improper lash technician placement or them not taking care of their lashes. While this may be true in some cases, a lot of time its just our lashes going through its own cycle.

Lashes all grow at different cycles at different times to ensure were not completely lash less at certain points of the year.

Retention goes two ways.
1. Time and quality the lash tech put into the work
2. Effort the client makes at home to upkeep the work of the lash tech.

One cannot work without the other for optimal lash retention.

Let’s talk lash techs!
I can’t stress how important it is to ALWAYS make sure your client is getting lashed on clean eyelashes. Please take the time to wash and prime those little babies.

Take time with isolation! You’re better lashes less lashes with quality isolation then many with stickies and multiple lashes stuck to a fan.

Take time with your fans. If you're a beginner consider pre making them so that you can spend your time focusing on isolation and placement.

Then there’s glue. Different glues have different dry speeds, ensure that your glue matches the speed that you need so that lashes dont stick together or you need to dip multiple times for attachment.
