Redemptive Developments is a non-profit organization based out of Edmonton Alberta, whose mission is to achieve social GOOD by establishing sustainable social enterprise. We are very proud to be a finalist in the Small Business category for the 27th annual Emerald Awards. Our mattress recycling facility, Evergreen Recycling has achieved amazing results throughout 2017 and we are excited for what 2018 will bring. City of Edmonton diverts 40,000 mattresses from landfill in 1st year of mattress recycling program 02/13/2018

What a year its been!

Over 51,000 mattresses recycled (40,000 from the City of Edmonton) with over 2 million lbs. of material recycled and diverted from landfill. Approximately a net reduction in GHG emissions of 2,759 tonnes of CO2e (equivalent to removing 620 cars from the road for a year). Employing up to 30 full time employees and re-investing over $1,000,000 in payroll back into the community. We are proud to be in partnership with the City of Edmonton to facilitate such a great initiative and have such a positive impact on our local community.
