Zinc Oxide is the primary ingredient in mineral SPF that provides protection against sunburn and it does a good job at it. It also helps soothe inflammation which is why you’ll find it in baby rash creams and some acne facial products.

But zinc also has astringent properties which is why mineral sunscreen can feel drying and give you a matte complexion.

If you love a dewy look💦, apply your mineral SPF while your skin is still damp. And use hydrating products, starting with a non-stripping cleanser and botanical facial spray. Followed by an essence and/or serum that has humectants and a rich moisturizer.

Ingredients to look for are glycerine, tremella mushroom, ceramides, hyaluronic acid(use with damp skin), honey, panthenol, marshmallow root and red algae. 💦💦💦💦💦💦

Salem Lauren Berg-Junio entered our lives on the 28th with the moon and in time for lunch. He’s a juicy guy weighing in at 9lbs 11oz, and we couldn’t be happier.
