Steps on Hair Removal using Electrolysis.
1. Insertion: A fine probe or filament is inserted into the natural opening of the hair follicle.
2. Application of Current: A small electric current is applied.
3. Chemical/Heat
Reaction: The current creates a chemical reaction producing
Sodium Hydroxide (Lye) or generates heat energy.
4. Destruction of the Dermal Papilla: This reaction or heat destroys the dermal papilla, which provides blood supply and nourishment to the hair.
5. Hair Removal: The hair releases without
resistance and is then removed with forceps or tweezers.
This process ensures that the hair follicle is effectively destroyed, preventing future hair growth from that follicle.

Anagen Phase is the cycle in which the hair begins to grow from the blood supply. The hair will grow deeper and coarser (depending on previous removal methods). This is the phase that electrolysis will permanently destroy the hair follicle and germ cells that create new hairs.
