Did you know that soap is made with Lye? It is the most important ingredient in soap making but also the most caustic 🥺 If you understand the chemistry 🧪 of how the oils turn into soap 🧼 you will know that once the soap changes it’s chemical composition as it sits over night (a process called saponification) than the lye is no longer present in the soap, which makes it 100% natural🌿🪴🌼
