We're thrilled to welcome Brigitte Clavette as our first Artist in Residence of 2026! From May 4–29, Brigitte will be working in the Bruno Bobak Artist-in-Residence Studio.

A Saidye Bronfman Award winner and member of the Royal Canadian Academy of the Arts, Brigitte is known for her mastery of metal and monochromatic surfaces. During this residency, she will draw inspiration from works in our collection, including Graham Sutherland's Helena Rubenstein (1957).

Nous sommes ravis d'accueillir Brigitte Clavette comme première artiste en résidence de 2026! Du 4 au 29 mai, Brigitte travaillera dans le studio Bruno Bobak.

Lauréate du Prix Saidye Bronfman et membre de l'Académie royale des arts du Canada, Brigitte est reconnue pour sa maîtrise du métal et des surfaces monochromes. Au cours de cette résidence, elle s'inspirera des œuvres de notre collection, notamment « Helena Rubenstein » (1957) de Graham Sutherland.
