One Year at Fox’s 🦊✂️

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since we took over the historic Fox’s Barbershop from Bob. First opened in 1913, Fox’s has been a staple in the Fredericton community for over a century, and it’s an honor to carry that legacy forward.

We’re incredibly thankful for the loyal clients who’ve continued to support the shop through this transition. Your trust means everything.

Huge shoutout to Dustin and Sam for holding it down 7 days a week with consistency, professionalism, and care. You both have played a major part in keeping the spirit of this shop alive and thriving.

Hello, everyone..

My name is, Dustin Hurry and I am here to humbly impose a little barber bio with all of you because although no one asked, I am going to anyway...

I was born and raised in the radical trailblazing metropolis of Moose Jaw Saskatchewan. Self discovery has been a long road for me. Jumping from trade to trade, job to job that it wasn't until my brother initiated a move to Saint John, NB to become a barber by attending the prestigious trades school known as, Eastern College. As for me, I know a good idea when I hear one, so I latched on to the idea and a new venture began...

Out of school, I spent the first 3-4 years living and working in uptown Saint John honing my skills by the expense of my clients, who I couldn't appreciate more because who knows what the integrity of those haircuts were. The life and times of Dustin Hurry in Saint John were... Ever changing 🤙🏻, but with time, experience, and working along side of some or the best barbers in the Maritimes, i was finally able to find my grove.

Due to inconsistencies in the flow of business, i decide to join my brother in Fredericton, where we could finally cut hair together and be the best influences anyone could be to eachother 👍🏻.

But Fast forward to now! About 5 years later, I am proud father of a 2 year old son, and to be apart of the take over of one of the most historic barbershops on this side of the country. In my spare time (wherever that's hiding these days), I like to drop my motorcycle, fall off skateboards, model my power stance at rockshows, and powerbomb my toddler.

Since 1923, our barbershop has had the honor of serving those who have served our country. This Remembrance Day, we reflect on the generations of brave men and women—past and present—who sacrificed to protect our freedoms. Today, we remember them with gratitude and respect.
