Our last day will be JANUARY 24th 2026

After 5 incredible years, the time has come for me to close the doors of my salon.

Opening this salon was a dream come true — a goal I worked hard to bring to life, and one that has brought me so much joy, growth, and connections. It’s been an honour to create a space where so many of you came not only for hair and beauty, but for comfort, conversation, and care.

But as much as I’ve loved building this business, I’m also a mom — and being present for my family is something I value deeply. After a lot of reflection, I’ve made the difficult but necessary decision to step away from salon ownership. This change will allow me to not only create more space for my family, but also to refocus my energy on what I’m most passionate about: serving my clientele and growing my career behind the chair. I’m excited for this next chapter, where I can be more present — both at home and in the salon.

To every client who has supported my small business, and cheered me on — thank you. Your loyalty, kindness, and friendship over the years have meant more than I can put into words.

To the talented stylists and friends who worked alongside me, thank you for sharing your skills, energy, and heart with me and with our clients. You helped make the salon what it was: a place full of creativity, laughter, and fun. I’m proud of everything we built together and am grateful for the memories we’ve made.

Please continue to support the amazing stylists you’ve come to love — follow along with them to see where their next chapter takes them and where they’ll be offering services moving forward.







I also want to thank the people behind the scenes — my family. My dad always ready as our all-the-time handyman and my mom who was constantly keeping the salon clean and organized. And to my husband and kids — your constant love and encouragement have kept me grounded and motivated through every high and low.

This isn’t goodbye forever — just a new chapter. I’ll always be grateful for this experience and the incredible community that came with it.

Donation in Honour of Poppy Saunders 🤍

This year, Cassidy and Syd experienced something no mother or father should ever go through: losing their daughter, Poppy Saunders.

This December, the girls at Roca are hosting a Toy Drive for the Ronald McDonald House, as Cass and Syd had access to their services while they were at McMaster.

For every toy or item brought to us, you will be entered into a draw for a Hair Basket.

Please keep in mind that the age range for gifts is from babies/toddlers to preteens/teens.

Some examples for baby/toddlers:
- Blocks
- Puzzles
- Baby dolls
- Learning toys
- Leap Frog
- Clothing

Some examples for preteens/teens:
- Gift cards (mall, Indigo, Starbucks, Lululemon, Sport Chek)

They are also accepting gift cards, so those are a great gift as well!

Please bring all your items before December 21st, and we will draw the winner of the basket that day!

I also want to take a moment to thank all of our clients this year. Cassidy isn’t just a coworker to us; she is family, and this loss has been hard for us all. You have all been patient and shown immense support for not only Cassidy but for all of us at Roca, and we truly can’t thank you enough. We have the best clients!🤍
