This is what a typical 2 row extension maintenance appointment looks like:

➡️ I start by removing everything
➡️ re-install, working from the bottom up
➡️ add a little shimmer and/or volume spray
➡️ cheddar cuddles at the end

These appointments don’t include a wash but it is certainly something any client can add on! We give clients the option if they’d prefer to wash it themselves or have us do it.

✨ Fun fact: At EHL we always remove everything and use new beads/thread. We don’t offer fast bead move-up appointments because by the time 7/8 weeks rolls around the hair in your bead has drastically shed and no longer has enough hair inside to support the weight of the weft. It’s all about hair health around here girl!

And that’s it, she’s good to go for another 7 weeks 🤌🏼

Here’s the scoop:

➡️ you’re touching your hair too much; your fingers are greasy, get those things outta your hair

➡️ you’re going to bed with wet hair; lots of build up can happen this way

➡️ you’re not double shampooing; even a sulfate free should lather queen

➡️ you’re skipping a clarifying shampoo; this is a ‘once a week’ step to remove extra oil and product build up because we know you’re using a can of dry shampoo every day (focus on the roots and follow up with your regular shampoo right after)
