At Collective Footcare & Orthotics, our preferred method for casting custom orthotics is 3D scanning — and for good reason.

✔️ We perform non-weight-bearing scans
✔️ In subtalar joint neutral
✔️ Using a highly accurate, reproducible, and insurance-friendly technique

This approach allows us to capture your foot in its optimal position, leading to better alignment, improved comfort, and more consistent results compared to traditional weight-bearing methods.

🖥️ The scan is then used to design and manufacture your orthotics in-house or via external labs, ensuring precision every step of the way.

👉 While 3D scanning is our go-to, we’re also happy to provide plaster of Paris casting when clinically indicated or specifically requested.
