Hello all. Just wanted to update our valued customers of over 10yrs.

Sadly, The Original Barber had to close its doors in late July due to many factors including the effects of the pandemic.

Salim has moved to Montreal and will be missed.

Hajnalka will be working out of Mr. Tony’s on Locke St.

We are very sad that we were unable to let clients know ahead of time but due to unforeseen circumstances it was not possible.

We find ourselves living in unprecedented and uncertain times and I think it’s important to let you know we are doing everything we can at the barbershop to try and keep everyone as safe as possible.

We have been following the recommendations, directives and official advice from Government and the World Health Organisation over the last few weeks but have now decided to temporarily close our shop effective immediately.

These lockdowns have been incredibly difficult for us as a small business and your business is helping keep us alive.

BARBERING IS BACK!!!

The Ontario government announced that barbershops are allowed to open - with new safety procedures on Friday June 19, 2020.
This means The Original Barber will OPEN once again!

Safety Procedures:
1. Please ONLY come to the shop if you are 100% healthy and COVID-19 symptom free. Your barber will have the right to refuse service if you are showing signs of being ill.
2. You MUST wear a mask. If you do not have a mask, we can provide one at a cost that will be added to your service.
3. There will be no waiting area. Please arrive exactly at the time of your scheduled haircut, and come alone, as there will be no allowance for anyone other than client & barber.
4. HAIRCUTS ONLY. The mandate is that no facial services are allowed until further notice. This means NO shaves and NO beard trims. We'll take this one step at a time.
5. CALL AHEAD for appointment.
