All ready for the Soap Box Derby 😄

First and last days for Grade 3 and Kindergarden. It's shocking how long some days/weeks can be but how fast a year can go by too. Many incredible memories made this year along with lots of learning. Life got a little crazy busy at the end of the school year and we didn't get around to making any signs but Raya changed her mind from the beginning of the year of becoming a professional Figure Skater to a Dentist and Nyla had decided instead of becoming a Hairdresser she would like to be a Vet. Looking forward to what the future holds for my two precious kiddos (aka the Gruesome twosome) I just love these two sooooo much 💖💖.

Apparently... I love school??? 18 year old Lorraine would strongly disagree with that statement. In grade 12 I told my school academic advisor I wanted to do something short, that I was over school. I am sure I said it with a salty tone that would make 40 year old Lorraine's eyebrows raise. She said, "you know the average person changes their career 3-4 times in their life". I probably rolled my eyes and scoffed "that will not be me". Well, I guess I'm now part of that statistic. 🙄 "If I only knew then what I know now" is playing in my mind. I REALLY thought I would have it all figured out by the time I was 25, but it seems I realize more and more how many things I want to learn and explore. Life has been a journey thus far, and truthfully I have no idea where the next 40 will take me (or the next 1 if I am really being honest with myself). But in trying to live in the moment more, I am enjoying scratching the surface in the fascinating realm of skincare.

What a great weekend! A Friday night that stole a little fun from Saturday, Spikeball, a great BBQ, finally win the A final for the 590 league and then to finish off with a set of lashes.
