💔With a Heavy Heart…

‼️An Important Qphoria Update‼️

It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I share news I never imagined I would have to write.

Following recent developments and information received regarding the legal circumstances surrounding Qphoria, I am absolutely heartbroken to announce that Qphoria will not be reopening its doors.

I honestly don’t know how to put into words the sadness, disappointment, and heartbreak I feel.

Qphoria was so much more than just a business to me. It was a dream. A dream I poured my heart, soul, time, energy, and everything I had into. I fought incredibly hard to keep that dream alive, even when the circumstances became overwhelming. I held on to hope for as long as I possibly could, believing there would somehow be a better outcome.

Unfortunately, despite my efforts, so much of what has happened has been beyond my control, and the outcome is not at all what I had hoped or fought for.

To all of my valued clients, I want to offer my deepest, most heartfelt apologies.

I am especially sorry to those of you who still have outstanding gift certificates, tanning minutes, or unlimited tanning packages.

Please know that it was always my sincere intention, hope, and goal to reopen Qphoria and honour every single one of those commitments. I never stopped working toward that possibility. It absolutely breaks my heart that, because of circumstances beyond my control, I will not be able to fulfill that promise.

I understand that this news may bring disappointment, frustration, and even anger for some of you, and I completely understand those feelings. I wish more than anything that I could make things right for everyone affected. The last thing I ever wanted was for my clients to be left in this position.

For that, I am truly, deeply sorry.

To everyone who walked through Qphoria’s doors, supported my business, shared a laugh, offered a kind word, recommended us to a friend, or simply chose to spend your time with us — thank you.🙏

So many of you started out as clients but, somewhere along the way, became friends, and many came to feel like family. We shared stories, laughter, tears, celebrations, struggles, and countless conversations about life.
I got to know so many of you beyond your visits to the salon, and those genuine connections are something I will always treasure. 💜
You weren’t just appointments or faces walking through the door. You became part of my everyday life, and in so many ways, part of my heart.
Losing Qphoria also means losing that familiar place where we connected, and that is one of the things I will miss the most. 😔

You helped make my dream a reality, and for that I will always be grateful. 🙏

One of the hardest parts of all of this is accepting that, no matter how hard I fought or how badly I wanted things to turn out differently, sometimes the outcome is simply not ours to control.

I wish this story had a different ending.
I wish I could be writing a post welcoming you all back instead of saying goodbye.

Please believe me when I say that this was never the ending I wanted, and I am carrying a tremendous amount of sadness knowing that so many people have been affected.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in Qphoria, for supporting my dream, and for being part of something that meant so very much to me.💖

I will forever be grateful, and I am sincerely sorry that I couldn’t give this dream, or all of you, the ending you deserved.

A little Qphoria update ❤️

First, I want to sincerely apologize for not having an update for everyone sooner.
I know there have been a lot of questions, and I truly appreciate your patience and understanding more than I can say.

At this point, it wouldn’t be appropriate for me to share all of the details, and I also don’t want to give anyone false hope or make promises before things are finalized.
What I can say is that I am hopeful Qphoria will be up and running again within the next couple of weeks. 🤞❤️

I expect to have a much more concrete update to share with everyone by next week.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your patience, your messages, your understanding and, most of all, your continued support of Qphoria through all of this. It truly means more to me than you know. ❤️

The previous ownership/business I mention below is NOT connected to my ex husband Ed LaPierre
The issue stems from the original ownership and the lease they signed in 2008 and when they defaulted on that lease

As many of you may come to see, the salon currently has a notice posted on the door.

I understand the frustration and concern this notice may cause, and I want to be as transparent as possible with our clients.

I was recently informed that arrears from the previous ownership/business named on this notice (lease signed in 2008 ownership) had been attached to a revised lease I signed this year.
At the time of signing, I was not made aware of these previous arrears or that they would become part of my lease obligations.

Once I became aware, I immediately began seeking legal clarification regarding my responsibility for this debt.
At this point, the matter is being handled through legal counsel, and unfortunately, I have very little additional information I can responsibly share. As I am given more information I will update you all.

I truly understand how frustrating this uncertainty is and deeply appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding and continued support while this is being worked through. ❤️
