You might be thinking, "but sugaring and waxing are basically the same thing, how can sugaring hurt less?" so let me explain.

There are a few key differences between sugaring and waxing:
🍯 Sugar paste is made from all natural ingredients and is water soluble, so it only grips the hair and any dead skin. Wax on the other hand? It grips everything, including the top layer of live skin, which is why the rip can feel so harsh.
🍯 Sugar paste is applied against the hair growth, and removed with the direction of growth, while wax is the opposite. Pulling with the hair's natural direction means it's genuinely a gentler extraction
🍯 Sugar paste is applied at or near body temperature. No heat, no burn risk, and no nerve irritation from hot product on skin.

The combination of all of these things, means that sugaring actually does hurt less.
