Happiness and peace of mind — that’s what I set my intention on every time I make space to challenge my body through movement. 💛 Not sure if it was choosing a yin class today instead of a more aggressive activity, but I’m really loving this sense of calm and balance. Perhaps it’s also the rain today, nourishing the new life sprouting around us after so many sunny days. 🖤🌧️🌿

Meet me in between “unbecoming” and “returning to”. As we move into shorter days we have the choice to embrace natures call for rest and renewal or to look backwards, saddened by what is ending. Similarly, when we decide to change patterns and move towards ones that serve us and our lives today we decide… is it an unbecoming of who we are or a returning to our inner forgotten self? Perhaps both are truths to consider.
For my part, I aim to integrate these perspectives, seeking to reconnect with my core joyful self while considering the lessons of past experiences without the weight of them.

Can we agree that noticing qualities in the humans around us that inspires us feels much better comparison of self to them? It is impossible to realistically measure where someone is at right now relative to us. Each individual journey takes us in different directions at various points
Most recently I am inspired by those who are able to: finding comfort in stillness, easily sit with quiet and appreciating BEING as opposed to action.
I notice with appreciation those who quietly engage in hobbies that nourish them and sit with the beauty around them, declining additional work. Allowing the body and mind to delight in rest and non productivity I hope to embody one day🤍 What are your goals?
