Available both June 8th (partial day) and June 9th 10-5.
Able to transport yourself to/from the 2 different Toronto locations (one for each day).
Willing to have your hair both coloured and cut .

I’ve been doing the work for my Immersion digital portfolio and seriously loving every minute of it. It’s really driving home why I continue to grow and educate myself.

I originally met several months ago when I had the privilege of working with her curls the first time. At the end of her visit, both she and I were thrilled with her hair.

And then I went to Georgia in August for the CIK Immersion experience.

And opened myself to more knowledge.

And came home with so much more than additional technical skills, but those too.

This is why I continue to evolve as a curl artist and as a person.

I am humbled and beyond grateful of the trust that is placed in me. It’s never taken lightly, not even for a moment.

Let’s cut your curls how you wear them!

What do I mean by this? I’m aware of the approach to cutting tight curls that’s circling on social media, where it’s all about straightening the hair and then cutting it while it’s straight. If you wear your hair straight all the time, this will work for you.

If you wear your natural curls and coils, why would we try to do a 3 dimensional cut on a 2 dimensional surface?

A straightened haircut is not designed for how your curls actually live on your head.

It can’t forecast for the wonderful expansion that happens between days 2-7. And can’t give you a shape that helps you feel confident all of those days.

I saw very little of Georgia but I absolutely love how friendly and welcoming everyone (and I mean literally everyone) is, the abundance of sweet tea (iykyk), and how sometimes carryon luggage is the hard shell case for a cowboy hat.

When planning a colour, one of the most important factors that I talk about is maintenance because I want to make sure that the colour I craft aligns with a maintenance schedule that actually works for you.

This gorgeous guest was ready for a glow up and just to take some time for self-care when she visited me. She came prepared with inspiration photos (which I love) and then we chatted about her lifestyle which includes being a busy mom and managing a household. This meant that our colour goals needed to be adjusted to reflect her life and that’s what I’m here for. This look will only need maintenance 3 times per year.
